Michelle Winder is a lifelong Fort Worth resident and candidate for Texas House District 99. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School and continued her studies at Weatherford College, Tarleton State University, and East Texas State University at Commerce. Lola served in the U.S. Army National Guard and spent 31 years working for the Santa Fe Railroad, where she also held leadership roles in the United Transportation Union advocating for workers. Raised in a civically engaged family, Lola has always believed in serving her community. Today, she is running to focus on the issues that matter most to Tarrant County: strengthening public education, protecting our water and environment, and improving access to healthcare for families.
